The laptops in the Business Leadership Building for use by only Ryan College of Business faculty members provide the opportunity for secure, high-stakes computer-based testing of both small and large groups of students. The team members of University IT Desktop Services support this service by securing the environment, providing constant tech support and proctoring of exams.

Faculty also are encouraged to use the security tools available in Canvas, Pearson, and McGraw-Hill products for even greater lockdown of testing materials. Information about those learning management tools and their use can be directed to the staff at the Center for Learning Experimentation, Application and Research, CLEAR.
Important Note to Faculty

Cell-phone-signal jamming or scrambling is NOT provided. Individual machine-based security cameras are NOT provided.
If you have any questions about the security of the laptops, please contact the Testing Coordinator, at SageTestingCenter@unt.edu.
